Sidi Bouzid, Morocco
I and my colleagues had decided to spent the Eid El
Fit’r holidays in Sidi Bouzid, El Jadida last June 25-26, 2017. We had stayed
overnight in Sidi Bouzid and explores its amazing beach.
We
spent the night by renting a villa in Sidi Bouzid, which is known to be
extremely busy during summer season with an influx of mainly beach-goers,
surfing buddies and are famous for other seawater activities like jet skiing. The
villa we rented has its own swimming pool and there we are, swimming
tremendously. The place is quite and safe. Thanks to the villa owner, Madam
Rabia for the warm welcome.
The pristine beach of Sidi Bouzid is just about a 5 kilometer coastal drive from the City of El Jadida.
The beach is one of the preferred destination of the locals and foreigners due to its beautiful scenery and the relaxing ambience of the beach. The waters are clear and refreshing and the beaches are all soft sand.
We go swimming in the morning and you can feel the waters are safe and easy to swim in. But if you want to take your adrenalin pumping, there are lots of seawater activities to be done such as surfing and jet skiing. The windy weather of the place is good for the surfing and kite surfing also. In fact, Sidi Bouzid beach is one of the best in Morocco in terms of surfing. Other than that, you can also try Horseback riding along the shore, if you want a romantic activity. In terms of safety risks, no worries, there are lifeguards typically on duty.
The beach is lined with a boardwalk and when you are
tired of walking along the shore, head up to the boardwalk and roam along the
coastline.
Hungry? There are lots of restaurants, cafes and
shops that you can dip into and also serves beer and wine.
A popular establishment to visit is Requin Blue, which has an outdoor terrace perfect for watching the sun set over the Atlantic.
